The section of the project between Owens and Cheyenne Avenues is slated to be designed and constructed first. The project includes a 150-foot right-of way with control of access. Key potential improvements in this project segment include: “Gateway” concept at Las Vegas Boulevard; signalized intersections at Lake Mead Boulevard North and South and at Carey Avenue; pedestrian bridge at Judson Avenue; bridge over I-15, the UPRR, and Losee Road; and Urban Interchange at Cheyenne Avenue.
